- If Maya Angelou is from Stamps, Arkansas, the question of the Maya Angelou
- Stamps can be laid to rest. Silly me, I thought Mayas hailed from Central
- America. Was having a poet at the inauguration an example of Maya from Heaven
- or will Clinton take the credit?
- On a more serious note, she did well considering that commissioned political
- poetry is not always high art, e.g. the otherwise great Archibald McLeish's
- "Great American Fourth of July Parade"
