  13. If Maya Angelou is from Stamps, Arkansas, the question of the Maya Angelou
  14. Stamps can be laid to rest. Silly me, I thought Mayas hailed from Central
  15. America. Was having a poet at the inauguration an example of Maya from Heaven
  16. or will Clinton take the credit?
  17. On a more serious note, she did well considering that commissioned political
  18. poetry is not always high art, e.g. the otherwise great Archibald McLeish's
  19. "Great American Fourth of July Parade"
