  13.  The College of Wooster (WOOSTER) is ready to bring our new VAX 4000-500
  14. on-line. We ran a short test this afternoon (Thursday, January 21) to make
  15. sure our link with Ohio State came up properly (it did).
  16.  
  17. We will begin final conversions and moving all user files from the old system
  18. to the new beginning Monday, January 25, 1993. We expect to be off the net for
  19. 24-48 hours.

  21. The VAX 4000-500 will replace two VAX 11/750s (one in service since May 1983,
  22. the other since December of 1985). I have plenty of TU58s available for anyone
  23. willing to pay the postage 8{)>.

  25. Remote sites should not see any change to e-mail addresses of our users or the
  26. IP number of ACS.WOOSTER.EDU (username@WOOSTER for BITnet addresses,
  27. username@acs.WOOSTER.edu for Internet addresses and 140.103.29.3 for the IP
  28. address of ACS.WOOSTER.EDU).
