- Important positive statements are being made concerning the Reference
- Librarian's relationship with the networks as sources of information,
- which the Reference Librarians may then pass on to their patrons.
-
- Perhaps now is the time when Reference Librarians may also consider a
- relationship with the networks that would also include information to
- be travelling across the networks from the library to the patrons.
-
- I wonder how long it will be before patrons can actually email to the
- Reference Librarians in the same manner the Reference Librarians have
- email access to their sources of information?
-
- There can be little doubt this is going to happen, the question might
- better be put as to when. Perhaps the formulation of email forms for
- queries would make this easier on the librarians.
