  15. Important positive statements are being made concerning the Reference
  16. Librarian's relationship with the networks as sources of information,
  17. which the Reference Librarians may then pass on to their patrons.

  19. Perhaps now is the time when Reference Librarians may also consider a
  20. relationship with the networks that would also include information to
  21. be travelling across the networks from the library to the patrons.

  23. I wonder how long it will be before patrons can actually email to the
  24. Reference Librarians in the same manner the Reference Librarians have
  25. email access to their sources of information?

  27. There can be little doubt this is going to happen, the question might
  28. better be put as to when.  Perhaps the formulation of email forms for
  29. queries would make this easier on the librarians.
