  15.         Many of us are reading this list in part to learn
  16. more about using the Internet in reference, but many answers
  17. to specific questions are too short to be of any practical
  18. use. For instance someone just replied that they got some
  19. information " Found by using .... on Illinet.  accessible by
  20. internet. " This is like telling someone, to use the Internet/
  21. Interstate Highway system parable, you can go from Baltimore
  22. to Washington by using the Interstate Highway system. It's
  23. just not of much practical use. If we're on this list we know
  24. how to get on the Internet, but we probably don't know the way
  25. to Illinet, but would like to.
  26.         Please make your replies more instructive by including
  27. addresses, methods of access (gopher @, ect.), and any other
  28. info that might be necessary such as "login as guest". The
  29. answers to the Internet Hunt questions are usually good
  30. examples of instructive answers.
