- I would like to echo Marjo Arseneau: some of us just don't quite have the hang
- of doing reference with the internet yet. We aren't necessarily opposed to it,
- but it does seem slightly mysterious. I have bought and looked at two guides
- to the internet and both disappointed me. They talked about mail and lists
- and finding addresses and that's all fine, but just how do I find all that
- FACTUAL "stuff" that's out there? How does one determine what "node" to
- access? I have succeeded in finding some oddball things, but I have also been
- stymied. Is there some easy directory everyone knows about but me?
-
- Admittedly, with more time and effort, I should probably be able to figure the
- internet out, but with all the various demands of reference, BI, collection
- development, etc. that most of us do, time is at a premium.
