  15. I've noticed a chain lately of people who post to this net about wanting
  16. to subscribe.  Hopefully someone will pass the following information along
  17. about how to subscribe so that the amount of such postings will go down.

  20. TO SUBSCRIBE:

  22. 1)  Send mail to "listserv@<nodename>", NOT to the group.  For this
  23. particular group, the address is "listserv@auvm.american.edu".  For most
  24. others, this is a bitnet address.

  26. 2)  Leave the subject line blank.  The listserv tends to ignore mail with
  27. any subject lines at all.

  29. 3)  Send a one-line message to the listserv in the following format:
  30.         sub <group_name> <your_name>
  31. and send this.  This line for a subscription to this group would read:
  32.         sub lawschool-l Joe Blow
  33.  
  34. 4)  You should get confirmation that your request has been received
  35. shortly thereafter.
