- Oh, and about prep courses..... They may help some people, but also,
- if you have some time, just taking previous exams under timed conditions
- can bring up your score too. If you go into the exam knowing what to expect
- (about how long you have on each section, what TYPE of questions that are
- asked, that sort of thing...) you won't be as nervous, and that can make
- all the difference. Money can be a problem with prep courses. Check your
- local Law Center (if you have one, at Central, we do). Or even if you
- have a chapter of Phi Alpha Delta. We (along with the law center) offer
- workshops on the Logical and Analytical sections of the LSAT, which can
- help in teaching you HOW to attack a problem (diagrams, that sort of thing)
- All this is offered (here) free of charge to students of CMU. We also
- give free practice (graded) exams which have been disclosed by LSDAS. You can
- order these for under $10/each. That helped me a lot.
