  11. I'm trying to install the MVS Gopher clinet and server.  I have both
  12. parts working to the point that they will talk to each other and the
  13. client will talk to outside Gophers.  Then I tried to fire up my
  14. PC DOS Gopher client.  That produced these messages printed to STDERR01;

  25. I think the problem is related to a connection from an "UNKNOWN HOST NAME".
  26. Before I start looking at the C/370 source (I'm NOT a C programmer) SHOULD
  27. Gopher allow a connection from a host it can't get a name for?  I have an
  28. IP address for my PC, but no name.

  30. I also have a question about the Gopher ACCESS file, can I use "generic"
  31. entries, like FOO.BAR.DATASET(*) to control all members of a PDS?
  32. I think I found the place in the source that this could be done, maybe
  33. it's an 'exercise left to the reader'.
