- I'm trying to install the MVS Gopher clinet and server. I have both
- parts working to the point that they will talk to each other and the
- client will talk to outside Gophers. Then I tried to fire up my
- PC DOS Gopher client. That produced these messages printed to STDERR01;

- I think the problem is related to a connection from an "UNKNOWN HOST NAME".
- Before I start looking at the C/370 source (I'm NOT a C programmer) SHOULD
- Gopher allow a connection from a host it can't get a name for? I have an
- IP address for my PC, but no name.
-
- I also have a question about the Gopher ACCESS file, can I use "generic"
- entries, like FOO.BAR.DATASET(*) to control all members of a PDS?
- I think I found the place in the source that this could be done, maybe
- it's an 'exercise left to the reader'.
-
- Thanks.
