  16. I am currently looking at the feasability of running TCP/IP on our
  17. IBM mainframe which runs MVS. A few hundred questions come to light
  18. but I will try to keep to a minimum.

  20. (1) Can I use tn3270 to connect directly to an application other than
  21.     TSO ? e.g. IMS or CICS.
  22.  
  23. (2) What would be the easiest way to send transactions from a UNIX
  24.     machine (or VAX VMS with TCP/IP) to IMS?
  25.  
  26. (3) What would be the best hardware interface for offload 3172 or RS/6000 ?
  27.  
  28. (4) Is a 3172 a 486 OS/2 machine?
  29.  
  30. (5) Our future directions will be client server to DB2 are there TCP/IP
  31.     solutions around to support this?

  33. (6) Does anyone have implementation recommendations?
