- You install special ALA translation tables in the 7171. You create a new
- terminal type based on the 316X (we named it ALA3164) that is patched to
- point at the new translation tables. NOTIS has documents that tell you
- how to do this. We use custom software in CICS not NOTIS but based the
- terminal support on NOTIS (at least partialy). We use the full color ability
- of the 3164.
