- Hello,
-
- There has been alot of questions about the 1200 as of late and most of the
- responses have only confused me more. So here a some straight forward questions
- that I need answered before I fork over any money for a 1200!
-
- 1) Can anyone quote a price for a 1200HD?
- 2) Can anyone quote a price for a 1960?
- 3) Does Commodore's powerup deal effect the REAL price of a 1200HD?
- 4) Is the 1960 the only monitor out there that supports all of the 1200's
- display modes? (Other than the 1950)
- 5) Does it really come with 2mb of 32-bit chip ram?
- 6) What are the 1200's main expansion ports?
- 7) What can you put in each of these ports? (RAM, math chips etc.)
- 8) Is anyone offering a package deal on a 1200HD with a 1960?
- 9) Is it worth it to buy a 2.5 inch drive myself and put it in?
- 10) Is it a plug and go operation to put a HD in a 1200?
- 11) Will my old programs work with it? (i.e. Imagine 1.0)
- 12) How fast is it? (Anyone run SysInfo or AIBB on a 1200?)
- 13) Does the 1200 come with CrossDos and Arexx?
- 14) Anyone want to buy my old A500/68030/68882/25Mhz/3meg/512chip/WB1.3?
- (Didn't think so!)
-
- Get back to me anyway you choose, but I am sure others would like to see the
- responses as much as I do!
