- If you just assign SYS: you will run into problems. You should also assign
- C: to the C directory of WB3, LIBS: to the libs directory of WB3, and so on
- for FONTS:, DEVS:, L:, S: Also I think you will need to assign ENVARC: to
- SYS:Prefs/Env-Archive (sys: meaning the WB3.0 directory). I can't quite
- remember if this is all the assigns that WB3 needs, but they should
- account for most of them. One way of finding out what assigns you should
- include is to boot your friend's 1200 with the NO STARTUP SEQUENCE option
- from the boot menu (you know, hold down both mouse buttons after reset..?
- Sorry, just in case!). When the CLI comes up, type 'assign' to see what
- directories are assigned. Copy these into the start of your startup-sequence,
- and you should be in business!

-
- I did try some of the programs from WB3.0 on my 2.0 just for fun (to see
- what the preferences colour wheel would come up like on my 4 colour WB!)
- and I seem to remember that a few things said 'WB3.0 required'. I don't
- know, I didn't try installing all of 3.0, so it might be worth playing
- around with.
