- Virtual memory is only slow when the swapper starts swapping. Otherwise the
- system just runs like usual. GigaMem works pretty well on the A3000. I
- don't use it myself but I have seen it run several times. One of the nice
- features is that you can disable virtual memory for programs that are not
- written correctly. This means that you don't have to throw away your
- software. One of the disadvantages of the current version of GigaMem is
- that there is no support for the 68040.
- With GigaMem you can choose between a swap file or a swap partition.
