  14. Certainly the skills used in an essay exam are closer to "real world" skills 
  15. than are those of multiple choice exams, but they are still pretty far away!  
  16. Those of us who claim to "know" about such matters often have never prepared "a
  17. report in business or government."

  19. I trust that all of those persons who disdain multiple choice exams also eschew
  20. their use in the form of ACT, SAT and GRE scores!
