  20. As I was shelving, I came across a congressional hearing from
  21. 1991.  We only select a few of the Congressional hearings in paper, and
  22. this committee was new to me, so I looked in the 1991 Andriot's to see how
  23. long this committee had been in existence.  Turning to page 1158, I looked
  24. up the number.  I read:
  25.         P 93/2  Printing        (House) 1887-1946
  26.         P 93/3  Printing        (Senate) 1886-1946
  27.         P 93/4  Investigate Public Printing     (Senate) 1860
  28.         P 93/5  Private Land Claims     (House) 1887-1910
  29.         P 93/6  Privileges and Elections        (Senate) 1884-1944
  30.         P 93/7  Private Land Claims     (Senate) 1957

  32. I then accessed the Silver Platter CD-ROM, and using the index, discovered
  33. that there are two items with this class:  the two part hearing, and a
  34. rule book.

  36.         If it is cataloged under "Prisoner", then shouldn't this class be
  37. Y 4.P 93/8?  And if under "POW", shouldn't it be Y 4.P 88?
  38.  
  39.         Is there a logical (ha!) explanation why GPO put this under Y 4.P
  40. 93/2?  Will GPO correct it, if they are at fault?

  42. If it weren't for the SuDoc number mistakes, shelving would be very boring.
