  14. To all in the Mountain Plains Library Association region:

  16. Planning for the fall MPLA conference is well underway and I would
  17. like to extend to all in the MPLA region an invitation to join MPLA
  18. and the Government Documents Section.  This year promises to be
  19. another active one for the section in terms of programs at the
  20. annual conference which will be held Oct. 1-4 in Snowmass, CO
  21. One of the programs in cooperation with CO GODORT will be a GIS
  22. program; another will be a followup to last year's sucessful program
  23. on tape loading - this time bibliographic control in the post load
  24. environment. We are also looking for those interested in serving
  25. as vice-chair, chair-elect and secretary.  Hope many of you will
  26. be able to participate in MPLA and GOV DOC SECTION.
