  16. All those attending the Midwinter conference of the American Library
  17. Association:  Please take the time to participate in the GODORT Federal
  18. Documents Task Force Work Groups meeting: Sunday, January 24,
  19. 9:30-12:30, CCC C112.
  20.  
  21. Work Groups is an action oriented meeting.  We announce several topics
  22. concerning federal government information and then break into small
  23. groups.  The groups discuss the topics more fully and develop a recommended
  24. action for the FDTF to take (e.g. a letter from GODORT to an agency; a
  25. formal resolution to go through GODORT Legislation Committee to ALA;
  26. recommend a White Paper be written to further explore the topic;
  27. announce something via _DttP_ or _Admin Notes_, etc.).

  29. Possible topics for Sunday's meeting include:

  31. * GPO Budget; further implications for depository libraries.
  32.  
  33. * Distribution of hearings on microfiche (one paper copy per institution
  34. rule)
  35.  
  36. * Federal Depository Reorganization

  38. * Electronic depositories

  42. * ERIC
  43.  
  44. * GODORT FDTF Agency Liaison Program
  45.  
  46. Members of the Depository Library Council, GPO staff, core members of
  47. the Depository Operations Work Group, and Census Bureau staff are
  48. planning on attending this meeting to provide input.
