  17.     There are two excellent sources to obtain .GIF files and other
  18. image files( such as .BMP ( bitmaps ) and .PLI( animation, I think ):

  20. 1.  Call a BBS in your area ( Bulletin Board System ).
  21.  
  22. 2.  If you have access to internet, log on to any vax, sun, or
  23.     other computer that supports internet.  Then call any one of the
  24.     hundreds of board worldwide.  I do have a current list of some sites
  25.     and if you're interested,I can send you a copy.  Right now,
  26.     however there is one board I do know about.  It's atWashington
  27.     University in St. Louis. The number is 128.252.135.4

  29. If you happen to be from St. Louis( or don't mind paying for long ,
  30. distance phone calls ), a good BBS called B.S. Box has some .GIF files
  31. available.  The phone number there is ( 314 ) - 434 -3470.
