- I recently downloaded the waterwheel program and tried it on a
- couple of computers. On a 486DX, it's beautiful - the motion looks
- physically realistic. On a 16 MHz 386 without 387 - forget it, it's
- way too slow. It won't work properly on EGA - requires VGA

- An opinion regarding programming: there was no real advantage in using
- C++ rather than C for this program, aside from using different I/O
- routines. Not everyone has C++.
