- The Dewdney article gives a periodic sequence of "a"s and "b"s
- that determines each of the pictures in that article. For the
- swallow picture the sequence is ababab... with one period
- being ab. For the Lyapunov Jellyfish the period is bbaba and
- for Zircon Zity it is bbbbbbaaaaaa. To determine what input
- to use in Fractint, the Help screens of Fractint tell you
- how to convert each such "ab" sequence into an integer that
- you type in when you select the Lyapunov program in Fractint.
- The program also allows you to select the region in the
- (a,b) plane to view, but the default window, which I think
- is 2<a<4, 2<b<4, may suffice for the above sequences--I'm
- not sure as I have not tried those particular sequences.
