- I'm not arguing the Ten Commandments, although in my personal opinion
- they would not hurt. The argument is to teach and display character
- valuable to all children, of any religion or not. I don't think that
- responsiblity, attentativeness, etc. are on the order of having a
- particular denomination. As an adult what happens when you don't pay
- attention is you put you foot in your mouth, you make appologies to
- those you've offended, and you hopefully learn to become attentive.
- The end result either way is you learn to be attentive. Why not
- give children the opportunity to develop that type of character.
