  10. I just received this request from Dr. Iskandar Alisjahbana from
  11. the Bandung Institute of Technology (Indonesia):

  13. "I have seen an US Armed Forces inflatable transparent plastic (a
  14. sphere of around 1 m diameter) which produce fresh water for
  15. drinking, from seawater, with the help of solar radiation. I am
  16. looking for a researcher who has done experiments to scale-up this
  17. kind of fresh-water producting tool, by utilizing half spherical
  18. dome (radius of several m) whith transparent plastic cover,
  19. floating on seawater, to produce drinking water for a village."

  22. way, the response will go back via VITA's low earth orbit
  23. satellite system to Iskandar's groundstation near Jakarta).
