  30. Same thing happened here.  The old VAX Lisp (layered product) is gone,
  31. replaced by a third-party product for which you pay handsomely, even at the
  32. 50% Market Basket discount.  My guess is that what is on the CDs is this
  33. new product.

  35. I was able to get an extension PAK for a week, so a student could finish a
  36. product.  Seems to me that DEC could generate PAKs for anyone who is
  37. content with the old product, and simply wanted to continue running under
  38. the former license, but they appear to be unwilling (probably because of
  39. the agreement with the third party [Lucid]).
