  13.     Hmpf! Those Superphones may look quaint (I used to have one) but they
  14.     were the best TDD's ever made in my humble opinion. That's because
  15.     they had a *regular* keyboard with the same feel as that of an IBM
  16.     Selectric typewriter.

  18. This is true.  They also are both Baudot- and ASCII-compatible.  I even
  19. tried logging into Athena from a Superphone, but for some reason, I
  20. couldn't get very far.  Maybe there was too much background noise.
