  26.         Answers to questions about our new catalog:
  27.         If she means the photo on the cover of the catalog,
  28.         the artist oriented it that way, although it was taken
  29.         from a reflection in a pond, which means that in fact the
  30.         photo could have been taken from below the pond, and therefore
  31.         is right side up, or from above, which means that it has been
  32.         turned around by the photographer.
  33.         My guess is that he took it from below the pond, with the real
  34.         house at the top.  Otherwise, he'd have to take the photo at
  35.         an angle to keep his own reflection out of the photo.
  36.         It is on the cover of the book, on the backside, though much
  37.         smaller than on the catalog (about three times smaller).
  38.         If she means the photo on the cover of the book, it's right
  39.         side up -- the plant is growing up a plank of wood.  Neither
  40.         photo is in the interior of the book.  For more information,
  41.         the photographer (also a contributor to the book) is Willy
  42.         Conley.  The book has received excellent reviews, by the way
  43.         from Publishers Weekly, Booklist, and Library Journal.  In my
  44.         own humble opinion, it's the best we've ever done.
