  11. The CAUSE Office has asked me to forward the attached Call for Nominations to
  12. members of DASIG.

  16. CAUSE Call for Nominations.
  17.  
  18. CAUSE has established two award programs related to the challenge of
  19. enhancing the administration and delivery of higher education through
  20. information technology. One honors people, the other infrastructure--two key
  21. elements in the successful deployment of IT on campus.

  23. --- The CAUSE ELITE Award for Exemplary Leadership and Information
  24. Technology Excellence honors individuals who contribute significantly to the
  25. success of their institutions through visionary direction and management of
  26. information technology (deadline for nominations March 1, 1993);
  27.  
  28. --- The CAUSE Award for Excellence in Campus Networking, a new award this
  29. year, will recognize colleges and universities that have created outstanding
  30. networked systems on campus that allow staff, students, and faculty to be
  31. more productive in today's heavily networked environment (deadline for
  32. nominations March 31, 1993).
