- I'd be interested in seeing how you implement this with Gopher. Gopher
- is a wonderful tool because it does allow you to tie in data that is
- intended for just about any medium, but without a tie into a Mailer
- program to reply/post to these lists, news announcements lists are
- just about the only mailing lists that are worth reading in this manner.

- Here at Brown on our VM/CMS system, ours was combined with a general
- conferencing ability, so that the mailing lists are accessible at the

- There might be a way to get LISTSERV to do this, but you will find
- quickly that not all the mailing lists out there have archives, or are
- LISTSERV lists. There are a multitude of lists that are "Internet" based,
- with no origins from the LISTSERV-type mailer. I think it will be
- easier for you to archive it yourself.
