  11. I have a CMS file with a 5 byte field in each record (columns 23-27) which
  12. was originally created in cobol as a PIC S9(8) COMP-3.  I'd like to
  13. write a Pipes filter to translate this field to a readable format.
  14. Example:  in the first record this field has the value X'001075667D' (5 bytes);
  15. I'd like to wind up with 001075667 in character (8 bytes).
