- Our date due slips are imprinted
-
- DATE DUE Last date stamped
- unless recalled
-
- It does help for some patrons, but we also give a verbal warning at checkout:
- "Your books are due on xxxxx unless they are recalled" as well as pointing
- out the ones that are on short term loan.
-
- When they are registered into our system (activating their cards) we also
- pass out a slip that states our fine policy, recall and renewal policy, etc.
- If we get a blank look, we clarify that a recall will shorten their loan
- period and fines start earlier - that gets their attention!
