  15. Here's a positive thought--just a tidbit--to add to anyone's view of Last of
  16. the Mohicans.  It's from the latest issue of Film Comment, one of the "Moments
  17. out of Time" observations made on the past year's films... and one I happen
  18. to agree with:

  21. to Madeleine Stowe. Overexposure in TV clips can't reduce the bravery and
  22. exquisite judgment in the writing of that line; it's the startling 'occurs'
  23. that measures Hawkeye poised between races, cultures, and fundamental
  24. allegiances, in The Last of the Mohicans..."   JC
