- I saw the original Cape Fear this past weekend and I hate to say it but
- some of the dialogue made me laugh. I don't think Robert Mitchum was
- nearly as scarifying as Robert D. I guess it was more subtle? The newer
- Cape Fear was much more suspenseful, although maybe because I knew what
- was going to happen when I watched the old one it wasn't as spellbinding.
