- And on the subject of remakes, let's go for the really obscure--a case where
- the original has hardly survived in a state visible enough to even question
- the quality of the sequel: Blake Edwards' "Victor/Victoria", which remade an
- obscure German film from the 30s, I think ("Viktor und Victoria"... or whatever
- the spelling is!). JC
