- I checked my copy of the Fox letterboxed disc of Star Wars last night--it's also
- missing a second toss of the grappling hook. However, if the scene ever play
- ed
- another way, it must have had some other editing changes too. Luke's toss
- occurs while the storm troopers are shooting at them from the front, and another
- group are about to force open the airlock from behind. A couple tries of the
- hook, with the second being guided by the force, would seem forced under the
- circumstances. Also, it would sort of make Luke's final approach to demolishing
- the Death Star a bit redundant--what with having to be reminded by Obi Wan's
- voice to trust the force. (Hasn't that kid gotten the point by now?)
