  15. I checked my copy of the Fox letterboxed disc of Star Wars last night--it's also
  16.    missing a second toss of the grappling hook.  However, if the scene ever play
  17.    ed
  18. another way, it must have had some other editing changes too.  Luke's toss
  19. occurs while the storm troopers are shooting at them from the front, and another
  20.    group are about to force open the airlock from behind.  A couple tries of the
  21. hook, with the second being guided by the force, would seem forced under the
  22. circumstances.  Also, it would sort of make Luke's final approach to demolishing
  23.    the Death Star a bit redundant--what with having to be reminded by Obi Wan's
  24. voice to trust the force.  (Hasn't that kid gotten the point by now?)
