- Good morning, folks!
- I saw an old Cary Grant movie entitled THE TALK OF THE TOWN this
- weekend. It was about an escaped accused arsonist who finds refuge in the
- home of an old female friend. Of course, the home just happens to now be
- the summer rental of a stuffy nominee to the Supreme Court. Anyway, the
- movie was funnier than than any recent comedies I remember and, of course,
- Grant is always a joy to watch. So what if he plays himself in role after
- role?
- While I was watching this one, it occured to me that it would make
- great remake material. I suggest Andy Garcia in the Grant role, Malanie
- Griffith in the female lead, & Peter O'Toole as the nominee. While we're
- at it, can anyone else think of some casting lists for remakes of them good
- ol' black & whites?
- Alex
