  14. Dear Michelle:
  15.         I am a Roman Catholic, and for the 5 years that I lived in a small town
  16. in Northeast Washington (STATE), I was always told that Mormons were a "cult"
  17. and that they were exclusive.  I, too, had a friend convert form Catholicism to
  18. Mormonism.  I do not believe that the Mormon Church is a so-called "cult".
  19. After all, the name of the Mormon Church is "The Church of Jesus Christ of
  20. Latter Day Saints", and I do not think that a church with Christ's name in the
  21. title could be a cult.  I now work for a man who is Mormon, and he has other
  22. employees that are Mormon.  He knows I am a Roman Catholic, and he respects
  23. me and my beliefs.  I, too, respect his beliefs, and if there is one thing we
  24. have in common, it is that both of us believe in Christ.  I should also mention
  25. that my boss is the best man I have ever worked for, and many people whether
  26. dealing with him personally or in business respect him.  I will pray that you
  27. and your friend will be able to accept the differences in church denominations
  28. and go foreward in faith together.
