  24. On the other hand, we must avoid judging our success by our churches'
  25. monetary income and financial status.  With that much money coming in
  26. and (hopefully) going out, how much greater would the temptation be?
  27. Sometimes I think God keeps us from being *too* successful for a
  28. reason...

  30. However, there is no reason that Christians cannot give their money
  31. directly to people who need it, rather than putting it all under the
  32. church's discretion.  In fact, this would provide far fewer
  33. opportunities for corruption than if it were all thrown into one big
  34. fund.
