- Hi,
-
- We will be adding our 3rd 21 drive CDServer very shortly (CBIS
- v2.20C). I would think that as long as we can keep our
- re-directions from crossing servers to much, performance should
- not be affected since the number of users is staying the same.
-
- Currently we have a few databases "cross-servered" due to slot
- availability shortages. This seems to slow things down a little,
- but not as much as the fact that we have mixed the Hitachi 1503's
- with our new Texel players. Our third server will be all texel's.
- That should insure maximum performance.
-
- If everybody goes after all different databases all at once, the
- server will still only reply on a first-come --> first served
- basis.
