- We had this same problem on a WAN connection.
-
- We replaced an old 286 server with a 386. This was the only server at that
- location.
-
- The names of the servers were the same, but the key numbers were different. The
- new server could see all of the other servers across the WAN. However, it
- could not be seen.
-
- When the servers which did the communications were rebooted the problem
- cleared up. I believe that the routing tables in the servers were the cause
- of the problem.
