- Bill is absolutely correct! It is sometimes a long process.
- When we start it in school wiyh a particular child-----we do nothing else
- with that child. Our bathroom is right inside the room so it's convenient
- but boring,decorating the bathroom helps,PATIENCE is a must,REWARDS
-
- are also a must and must be immediate. We use Skittles and stickers.
- In fact everyone in the room gets Skittles when Christopher is
- successful!Another important,let me rephrase that,A VERY IMPORTANT
- aspect is parent involvement. It is critical that if toilet training
- is being done in school parents have to follow through at home.
- I can't tell you how many parents think our program will work
- in 3 hrs. at school and then immediately put the child in diapers
- when they arrive home.Rosanne
