- Outstanding. Now, and I am seriously curious about this; what is the origin of
- this thing. Dan Ponech apparently put it on this list in June. As I remember
- the discussion, there was an operating assumption that he was the source; but
- now I see a cross reference to a list called ANTHRO-L. The Chronicle
- attributes what seems to be the same thing to the names Richard Wilk and Anne
- Pyburn. Anybody know anything? I think I'll bounce over on ANTHRO-L and ask. I
- continue to be fascinated by where humor in organizational/institutional
- cultures comes from and what it does. BTW: I also remember Ponech as saying he
- was dropping out of sight for research or sabbatical or something and leaving
- the list. True? Thanks for digging this one up, Gil.
