  28. As to why I didn't submit it for the compilation tape, the tape was
  29. announced while I was on Christmas vacation.  When I returned, there
  30. were 2200 messages unread.  By the time I found the announcement,
  31. the deadline had passed.  A few days later I found the announcement
  32. that the deadline had been extended, but by then the extended
  33. deadline had already passed.  Sorry, folks.
