-
- BTW, Loudon Wainwright III has a new CD out (don't know the title), which
- includes "Talking Bob Dylan Blues," which Wainwright wrote (or wrought) in
- honor of Dylan's 50th birthday, last year.
-
- My favorite song which Wainwright writ :) is "Red Guitar." Its about how
- he gets mad at his red guitar and burns it up. He buys another guitar,
- but the final verse goes:
-
- "I went and bought a blonde guitar
- I had it for three days
- A junkie stole my blonde guitar
- God works in wondrous ways."
-
- Of course the whole thing is all piano and voice (i.e., no guitar).
