  18. Ah LW LW.  The singer *is* Pearl Jam.  Without him they'd be just another
  19. band playing kinda-nice-but-over-played-blues-licks.  First time I heard
  20. the guy sing, I thought "Heh, doesn't do much for me, but *he* seems to
  21. mean it."  Since then I've grown to appreciate his cathartic fits, much more
  22. than any that the king-of-catharsis, Springsteen, ever put out.
