  25.     Here is a parallel with science: there are 'real scientists' who
  26. make the discoveries, advance their fields, etc., and there are
  27. 'popularizers of science' who make those discoveries available to many
  28. people outside the narrow circle of specialists by putting complex ideas
  29. into a form that can be easily digested by dilettantes. And so do some
  30. composers. And ALW is one of them. And while the 'popularizers'
  31. don't contribute directly to whatever they are describing,
  32. they are partially responsible for general public's education, which is
  33. not that bad, if you think about it.

  38. couple of days I have been totally absorbed in the music of 13th Floor
  39. Elevators, thanks to Renato. They are a great energetic band that
  40. amazingly combines opposite emotions and adds an original guitar
  41. signature to them. A total must.
