  17. hmmm.if you want to check out some of zorn's more (ahem) straight-ahead
  18. jazz works, try looking for _spillane, etc._ or _spy vs. spy - the music
  19. of ornette coleman_. on the other hand, since you're a metalhed (tm), you
  20. might go for some of the hardcore-jazz melding that he's done as well.
  21. in which case, go directly to _naked city_ or _the torture garden_. the
  22. later is probably a bad one to start with since it's so damn short. he's
  23. done more since then, but i find _naked city_ to be the best of these
  24. efforts.
