  11. Hey blooz fanz, I just read a review of a new Alligator from an Aussie by
  12. the name of Dave Hole. (Feb. '93 Audio magazine) Anyone heard of him? The
  13. reviewer raved about his burning electric slide guitar playing, saying
  14. "Hole's frenzied electric slide is caught in a time warp somewhere between
  15. the original Allman Brothers and early Rory Gallagher.... Miss this one at
  16. your own risk." It's on Alligator ALCD 4807.

  18. Speaking of burnin' electric slide (acoustic as well, actually), if anyone
  19. gets a chance to see the John Campbell Band live, DON'T MISS THEM! Campbell
  20. plays a smokin' blues guitar, and has a *powerful* wicked voice. He's also
  21. got Robert Cray's former bassist, Richard Cousins, playing in the band. I
  22. saw 'em down in N'orlins last fall and they knocked me out. JC's got that
  23. special presence.
