- I've seen Digging (it must get alot of "screen"-play because i see it in
- passing quite a bit) and of course Sledgehammer, i'm not a video
- kinda guy, but the word masterpiece doesn't fit those two videos. The video
- I liked (I'm sure i'm alone here) is Thriller, i think it was a fore-runner
- to what's being done today, and would come closer to being a "masterpiece"
- but like i said i'm not into videos so i'm really "clue-less" on the subject.
- I guess it also depends on what you consider a masterpiece, i can't think of
- but a handful of masterpieces of modern music and no videos .......L.W.
-
- New Thread (maybe): Name what you beleive is a modern masterpiece of music
- entire album or just a tune........?
-
- Why do people (including myself, sometimes) think that artists/musicians are
- different...? Example, talking to a doctor about the local Symphony not playing
- for 1/2 pay, he said that if they cared about the "arts" they would've and i
- wanted to respond that if he cared about mankind he would charge patients 1/2
- price. Artists are supposed to do it cuz they love it, but what bout doctors
- lawyers (sorry Marsha)....etc. Why can't artists make money and not be termed
- a sell-out or not-caring about the arts......L.W.
