- Boot your 3.1 system and check to see that the tape drive is
- rmt0 and available, not just defined.

- He's doing what the installation manual says to do. Frankly, I
- don't bother: I put the tape in, turn the key to service, issue
- the shutdown with reboot, and let it rip. Works for me.
