- I use sudo to achieve the above. I created a user named backup who is
- authorized to sudo one shell script, owned and maintained by root,
- which contains our standard backup procedure.

- Sudo is described in the Nemeth/Snyder/Seebass book. It is available
- at various ftp sites. If I remember right, I installed it without too
- many difficulties using CC=bsdcc and /usr/ucb/install.
