- uuencode/decode is actually for u*ix operating systems. Although DOS files
- are often uuencoded, it is more for convenience for 'net' travel. Mac files
- tend to be Binhexed, which is a very similar format. There are on the nets
- somewhere in info-mac the uudecode/uuencode programs, and I am sure that
- there are alos binhexers for DOS machines. However, the most popular place
- to find uudecodes are on your u*ix system. Just type uudecode filename
